A HUNDRED FULL time jobs will come on stream next year with the creation of two new motorway service stations, it’s planned. The sites, on the M8 Dublin-Cork road and on the M9 between Dublin and Waterford, are being built by Topaz, which is investing €8 million in the project.

Two hundred people will be employed during the construction phase of both sites, according to Topaz, while 50 people will be employed full-time once the two stations are fully operational.

The site in Co Carlow will also include a quick serve restaurant, leading to the creation of an additional 50 jobs.
