A US manufacturing company has announced the creation of 260 new jobs for Co Tyrone.

Terex, which makes equipment for the construction, quarrying and mining industries, will be investing £22 million (€26 million) in its operations in Northern Ireland.

The company already employs 1,100 full-time staff at its factories in Dungannon and Omagh. The new jobs for 260 skilled workers will be filled over the next four years, with the assistance of £2.6 million in funding from Invest Northern Ireland.
